Can anyone tell me what embedded loop points are ? I think I might get it, but not positive. Do they tell a sampler to loop only a certain region of a sample, such as the last half of a pad for instance ? And are these points something only certain samplers can understand ? Thanks to any who can enlighten me !

embedded loop points are simply loop points stored in the AIFF or Wav sample - they will then be read by any sampler, in theory.

Hey Sonic, thanks for replying! I've done some experimenting and get what loop points do.

i suggest yamaha's twe231 as a free wav editor to edit loop point data.. ;)

I checked the twe editer out. Nice utility. Now that I understand embedded points, it's a matter of editing them well. Those evolving pads are a bitch!

To tony tony chopper

Where can I get this plug-in? It seem to be a great tool...

Post

it's not finished yet. The first version will be included with FL Studio, then a VST version may appear.

I hope that will be available soon as a free VST. Anyway, I found something (could be the same vst we are talking bout) but I didn't try it yet.
So... when will apear that version of Fruity Loops (with the Emerson vst included)?

Yep, I'm trying the demo and it is damn nice! Think I'll have to get the card out. But not before seeing what Edison is all about.
