But then to do a run of a couple of octaves will involve programming across a number of tracks.. or maybe switch oscillator based on a CC or zoning. Zoning has problems in that the timbre of an E played an octave up the neck on a low string has a different sound to the one played 2nd fret on a D string - so CC switching would be the way to go, but then you have a problem with live performance trying to trigger the correct CC value when playing the run.
Hmm.. Guido could work it out! We could map out his work for the next couple of years for him while we're about it!

My monthly comp toon is done, and MsTn gets an upfront part. I'm NOT a trumpeter, and it DOESN'T compare to anyone elses stuff posted here, but's it's kept me amused..

I've never written a toon about a place before.. In Croxley Green, Herts (near where I used to live) there was a street called 'Gonville Avenue', and I always thought it would be a great name for a toon.
So I give you Gonville.

there was a free plugin using dynamic convolution a couple months back that got shut down pretty fast. cryin shame. lets hope thats not the case. seems companies enjoy completely holding back this techology cause you sure dont see them coming out with stuff as good. its like theyre runnin out the clock.

Rurik - what on earth are you talking about? A joystick?
Christians Dynamic Convolution plug was quite a thing.. He wasn't approached about taking it down, he did it as a precaution when some research in patents revealed that he wasn't the first to come up with the idea.. and being a humble student he didn't fancy having a legal suit against him!
I don't think Guido's broken any patents with this (apart from maybe the waveguide thing, but hasn't that expired?), but I'm sure that this will attract some major attention. Like Tobybear - do we hear from him these days? nope! He was approached by a few big league players and he only pops his head up every so often..
