Hello,

i've tested the LiveSlice Demo last night with Savihost and was so excited about this plugin, that i've bought it straight away. Unfortunatly i haven't tested with Renoise, my main host, before buying. :(

Now my problem, i have audio problems within Renoise, Liveslice randomly leaves out some slices while playing a test pattern. I haven't noticed this behaviour with Savihost. Also i've read here somewhere in the forum, that Liveslice saves the loops in 32bit format within the presets or songs, so i expect it should be able to load them as well. I've created some drumloops with Renoise and saved them as samples. Renoise saves them as 32bit files but Liveslice is unable to load them.

I have uploaded some testfiles consisting of a Renoise test project, 16bit and 32bit versions of my used drumloops and a test bank i've created for this test, which can be loaded with other hosts.

The Renoise Demo should be enough for testing this, only audio export and asio support is disabled in the demo version. You can get it here.

I've uploaded all demo files i've created [Link removed].

Greets, Alex

Hi Alex - very good idea with the test / demo files - unfortunately the link doesn't work. Please try again :-) I promis to take a look at it when I have the files.

Strange, seems they have deleted the file from their servers, maybe they don't like *.7z files.

I've uploaded the file to my own webspace now.

Good news: I just received word from the renoise developer team that they fixed the issue - it was a bug / inaccuraccy in the sync info provided by renoise. Version 1.53 of renoise works great with LiveSlice :-)

Very good news, so all my problems were solved, the 32bit files do also load fine now since the last LiveSlice version. :)

Yep, forgot to mention that - they were in the 32 bit float format - now supported by LiveSlice :-)

A short note for all Renoisers, the new Renoise 1.8 beta is finally working fine with LiveSlice.
