FR: Loop Arr beats on MIDI triggering arrangement

Yesterday I was jamming with some people using the VSTunnel demo (very cool http://www.vstunnel.com ) when I noticed this.

I had a MIDI part in eXT which was 4 bars long as well as the loop in the seq (16 beats) with only one note from start to end to trigger the first arrangement. First the arrangement was also 16 beats long and everything played just fine.

Then I altered that arrangement and set it to 8 beats and after the 8 beats were played, it continued to play the old tail from beat 9 to 16 which wasn't visible anymore (also no blue indicator in the GUI when it reached beat 9).

Then I reset the arrangement completely and set it from the initial 4 to 8 beats, but then it stopped playing after the 8 beats because the note still was 16 beats long (it was like LS were playing an empty buffer beat 9 to 16, no indicator as well).

So here is the FR:
Can the arrangement be looped after the end of the set beats is reached instead of playing on? So the 8 beats arr would be played twice on a 16 beats note.

I get what you mean. It's like setting loop brackets in Live's clip view. Even though the actual loop points may be longer than the bracket points, only the part within the brackets loop.

I did? I don't think I even understood your post It must be my subconscious mind kicking in - I wonder what else I implemented - let me know if you find any other new features I didn't know about

yes, definately!

i just tried it again and now it works just like i wanted to express in my first post. perhaps one of the bugfixes altered the way the buffer works and lead to that behaviour.. anyway, great!
