Hello, I0ve found that Sonar 5 always sends a CC 74 (filter cutoff mostly) with value 64 each time it starts playing.
Is there some way to avoid it (on many softsynth this is like moving a knob altering a parameter)?
Thanx and bye

Options\Global (might be Options\Project, not sure); disable Reset Controllers on playback.
Also, make sure the 4 MIDI controllers for the relevent MIDI channel(s) (press I to see the Track Inspector which is where they live) are either disabled or set to controllers you don't care about.

Already done both (the option is in Options/Project), to no avail.
Actually, I can disable Pan (CC10), Chorus (CC93) and Reverb (CC91) but there's no control over CC74....
Thanx anyway

Those 3 are in the track pane itself - the others are additional ones in the Track Inspector (and Console?) only.

I've found them both in inspector AND console, I'll try tonight at home with the project that's doing bad.
For now, lots of thanx!!!

Cool - glad that sorted you out (just seen your post on the Cakewalk forum saying it solved it).
