First new nebris recording of the new year. all clicks/pops/hisses quite intentional. 100% organic sound.
Play very loud. Those with mighty bass bins shall be rewarded.

Thanks for listening, Steve. I'm very happy with this one - it pretty much approximates what I was always aiming for with this sound, so much so that I'm not sure where to go next. Any more crumbly and it'd probably just fall apart.

Hmm, big beat?dystonia_ek wrote:so much so that I'm not sure where to go next.
I've been going through a "what's next" phase a bit lately. I don't think the nebris way is exhausted, though. If not more crumbly, milk the current level of crumbly a bit longer. Just look how far Philip Glass took those damned arpeggios.

I actually just answered my own question yesterday evening - churned out a few more pieces, and yes, even more crumbly. I just hope it's more listenable than the infamous Glass arpeggios (surely the cause of much mental anguish in the late 20th century).
