Folks

Now being released in beta test is Vibe - a sequencer that runs on mobile phones. It is available at vibejive.net (http://vibejive.net) for anyone who wishes to try it out.

With Vibe you can now work on compositon ideas anywhere you go with your phone. Whenever you get an idea, or have a spare bit of time, you can be putting stuff down in Vibe. It can import and export standard Midi files if you want to transfer ideas to your DAW.

Vibe also has an online song repository for uploading/downloading, sharing and collaborating songs directly on the internet from your phone.

If you think this may be of interest please try it out. We would love to know what you think of it.

Oh wow. Just had a quick play - I love it!

Using a Nokia 6230 + 1Gb btw, and use it a lot for mp3s whilst travelling. I can see me using this a lot on the train.

Thanks,

Don't have a mobile phone, but this looks cool -- nice and simple. Good to see some real meat instead of spam. :-) Best of luck with the project!

Sorry about that. If you are outside UK you will need to enter your country code (without +). Alternatively you can enter the URL that is on the vibejive.net homepage into your phone's browser to get it that way.

Great app, made a fun little ditty with it in about half an hour, but can't seem to register with the site on my k750i
Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

Would you be willing to tell me what company offers this service that sends SMS to people's phones once they punch in their number? I've wanted to distribute ringtones for a while.
