:( Awful & shocking if true. I searched on google and there seems to be a lot of talk about it on a lot of the other audio forums too. Also, there don't seem to be any recent news updates on his site??

I'm at a loss for words. Makes me feel very sad. Such a brilliant, generous, friendly & helpful guy.

His refill & sample packs are awesome.

I hope it isn't true but if it is may he r.i.p. Hopefully his legacy will still live on .....

I don't think speculation will get us anywhere. The only person who could confirm this would be someone that knows him personally - eg. a local friend or relative.

man this is so sick... Doru deserves better.

Post

why is it sick? it isn't at all. all i can see is a concerned group of people wondering if the guy's ok.

There have been some posts on other forums that are certainly pretty sick. I guess this is what cptgone is referring to.

That's his site. He gave away freebees on a regular basis (real good freebees), that made him very populair...
Plus, he was always nice and friendly.

I don't. I know him from what he posted here, and from a few mails. I bought his samples, they arrived very fast, but one disk was unreadable. Doru sent another one straight away, and didn't even want to accept my offer of paying the sending cost for the new disk. From what I've seen at KVR, he always takes care of customers, no matter the cost and effort. He's good people. A man of principle, I reckon.

and who might you be? this, your first post, is a vague, insinuative attack at a man who is widely respected here. Throwing mud won't do, make a statement or begone.

The link above is a disgrace. It doesn't prove anything, it's just a load of wild accusations. The only 'proof' they mention (about Doru's nationality) is proof of their own ignorance only.

You should be ashamed of yourself.
