Can anyone please help me with 2. problems that i have with Cubase SX 3.1.1.944 version?

PROBLEM 1.

1. I am working on a project and i'm editing VST effects on my tracks and working with instruments on MIDI tracks...

2. Im saving my project

3. When i open this project again, a lot of instruments or plugins are not set as i set them before saveing the project.

Are there some setings to correct this?

PROBLEM 2

When i use direct monitoring i dont hear this chanel in my headphones... i only hear the rest of the tracks

Instead of the Monitor button, you pressed the Mute button

In order to avoid this u need to create separate folder for each project you are creating.

Hi Fiki,
i use the same version of SX3.However i mainly work with midi tracks.R u facing the problem with any particular VSTi's or is the problem happening randomly.Certain VSTi's like the Edirol VSTi's require u to save its settings with the project also & there is a problem with Embracer that it resorts to the factory settings of the selected patch.
Regd VST effects-As far as i know, this problem happens if ur using demo versions which don't allow u to save.
Let me know in detail which VST(i)s r causing this.Maybe then i can help.
Regd ur 2nd problem,i don't think it's possible to turn direct monitoring on or off for each track in ur project. It's selected as a whole in ur audio card device setup page.
best of luck,
Peace & Love,
Mizo

if i am getting your point right, then input monitoring will only make input audio signals audible with all applied effects for that perticular track.
Tools are tools, they don't produce anything...
