Hi all. Anyone know if its possible to link up cubase over the internet? I.e. not to cluster resources but so that two poeple can work together on a project over the net. I think it is called Port something? Seen it mentioned in a sound mag once. Searched high and low on google but cant find it?
thanks for your time.

ask Steinberg forum/support if you are registered.
Tools are tools, they don't produce anything...

There was RocketNetwork which allowed exactly this until 2003 or so when it folded. Nuendo has a 'network collaboration' feature but it's designed for LANs rather than the Internet, although it might be usable over a high speed link. Otherwise there's DigitalMusician.Net or VSTunnel. There's also a collaborative modular sequencer on the way from WhiteNoize audio. I hope Jorgen will consider adding collaborative features to EnergyXT as this would be an ideal platform, running as it does as a VST plugin.
