I've been hunting for some new drumloops lately, in particular I've been looking for 4/4-danceloops. around 70% of what i have found is almost useless because of... Kickdrums... *I need to be able to mix and eq my kickdrum*
so please, if you are reading this and are constructing a loop library aimed at this particular market (house/techno/trance), mute that darn kick. If you don't - your loops will be uselss/not attractive to me (and many others I belive)

---You can always eq them, other than reverb, what is your concern about drum beat loops ?

Did you look into the "No Kick" series of sample CD's?

I know what you're saying mate, totally. I like to have the kick loop, the full loop and the top loop preferably. Sometimes you can bandpass the full loop and use it to embellish a programmed beat, but the top loop is better.
