hello. I have recently downloaded many free samples from Versionist.com A website catering to the Dub reggae community. Does anyone know of any similiar sites offering free samples to download? I downloaded a really great sound effects pack from versionist and wanted to find similiar items. specifically i am looking for sound effects that could be used in Dub reggae. thanks

Actually...you can get any general sound effects disk/samples anywhere. Do a search in Google for sound effects samples. Most of the effects one hears in reggae/dub are just heavily processed with these type of sounds. Now if you are talking about stuff like laser blasts etc...any old Casio/Roland would have them or try Doru Malaia. He has some on his site and FX disks for sale for about US$29/DVD.
