Ive been trying to source out some old rave samples, but havent had much luck, most sites dont have much or the quality is low. Stuff like air horns, woo-yeah, all that cheesy stuff.

If any one has that kinda thing, point me in the right direction, cheers.

Not sure Krim, but I'll have a mooch for ya. Other than the 'Funky President' break, I dont have many raves samples.

The shame is, I used to have HOURS of Exile radio on tape. This stuff was quality and would probably have served well to jog the memory.

Like a prick though, I taped over it all when I got into Jungle (damn D&B!!!).

That one I can do - it's a Korg M1, and there's a nice shiny new emulation of it by, erm, Korg.

Generally with the rest of you in being after woo yeahs and so on, though. Ardkore is the new ragga.

The M1 can be used to recreate alot of the original rave sounds, it's worth checking out.

I can't give away too much, but a certain forthcoming instrument emulating vintage samplers will contain as part of it's library many classic and new samples from a certain well-known old-skool rave artist. It's going to be a top one, nice one...if you know what I mean.

I got this sample cd named "Hardcore tools" ..it was a special edition cd by Id-T I think...class rave/gabber sounds on it!
