Anaal Nathrakh - aren't they one of those corpsepainted, axe-wielding, chain-mail-clad sort of bands? I don't mind some of that sort of thing from time to time, though I can't get into the concepts and image.

Ok. I know I'm getting in late on this one. Sorry - I have been really busy about the office, so had to find a dedicated listening time.
A very high quality piece, and now possibly overtaking Bleak Angels as my fav. Nebris decomposition. It really reminds me of stuttery projector footage of sped up stop motion animal decomposition. The flies appearing for short moments before the erupting maggots, and then the inevitable transformation from flesh into earth.
It is good to see that the Nebris stuff is keeping its own flavor and not continuing the decent into the cold metallic void of Annihilist.
Great work! I could listen to this all day... as a matter of fact I may do just that.

Yes, I think the wooden doll will serve me well. No need for the diving helmet though

Missed your comment - thought this thread was dead.[ xerocreep ] wrote:It really reminds me of stuttery projector footage of sped up stop motion animal decomposition. The flies appearing for short moments before the erupting maggots, and then the inevitable transformation from flesh into earth.
You seem to instinctively 'get' this stuff... it's all about the decomposition. Thanks for your observations - they're much appreciated.

sounds like a tropical downpour, where you get wet not only from above, but from below as the water bounces off the ground and travels up you skirt.
