Backwards Reverb??

I'm not sure how to ask this.. I'm looking for an effect similar to what was used on Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. The effect they used on Bill and Ted's voices after they died. It's this really intense backwards reverb. It sounds like rushing waters. If there a VST plugin out there that can do this? If I knew what it was called I'd do a search on it.
Thanks so much!

I haven't heard what you'Re talking about but they probably sampled whatever and then played it back in reverse. Its done alot in electronic music with Crashes (especially tarnce and the like).

What you need to do is reverse the sample, treat it with a long and interesting reverb and then bounce it and reverse it back again. This way the sample will play in the correct 'direction' but the reverb will be reversed and lead up to the beginning of the sample.
I hope this helps.

Reverse the audio.I just need to figure out how to do that on Cubase
Insert a reverb (not send) and play it 100% wet and render it.
Reverse the audio reverb.

That was so easy! I used Sound Forge. Thank you so much.. It came out killer! I used it on my vocals but this is a collaboration and the beggining of the song was too abrubpt. I was going to add some kind of intro to camaflage it but I used the same effect on the begining instead and it worked great. Very cool effect!
