George, one question: How to 'undo' unison without reloading the program. Do I have to create
a 'default' (means no unison) preset in unison.cfg?

There is no undo implemented for Edit actions yet. Unison takes layer A and applies unison.cfg preset accordingly so there is not much to worry if it doesn't sound as expected.

An alternative way to have a backup could be to Copy Layer before messing with Unison.

Of course commercial use is allowed when you buy Discovery. We do not allow that with demo versions only.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

best.

There is a new beta using absolute values for Unison Edit instead relative. Give it a try. Feedback is always welcome.

I've got the v2.5 demo and it would be difficult to use commercially because of the periodic noise bursts. But it could be used sparingly in between those bursts, and of course it could be sampled. If I were to conjure up a sound with it, or use it as part of a patch with another synth(s) and use it in a commercially sucessful tune, how would you know let alone prove it?

Requesting a purchase receipt to the producer?

Doing such thing is more ethics related I think. When making money from commercial products you better buy them to keep your karma safe or if you don't want to afford them just use freeware/donationware instead.

Have no ethics? Well, that's life and very little can be made to change that except oneself not behaving the same.

I am an ethical guy and I have bought softsynths and wouldn't use a demo on a commercial tune(if in fact I happened to write one and get the break), but still it seems it would be hard to prove if someone did.
