I'll give'er a go, but I can't promise it'll be any time soon. Perhaps someone should jump in before me. (I'm in the middle of a movie-- gf just went for snaXorZ and whatnot)

OK, I'm just not sure what needs to be done with it! It's a pretty constant C#, and the corrected version you posted sounds fine to me! <laff> Or is it that you want it to be C or D?

I'm confused. :D

It's more about why the plug won't handle it, anyway, that's if it IS the plug making it crackle...

I'm listening to it again and again and I don't see what the problem is! :D

There's crackling on the example with GSnap on.

Oh, shit, I replied seriously again!

Maybe tell me at which moment in the file? I must be going crazy, because I don't hear anything wrong.

You don't hear the crackling??!!

You're not listening to the dry sample, by any chance...?

Ah, THERE it is! I was listening at bedroom levels (girlfriend is asleep in the next room) and they were inaudible. With headphones I can hear them.

Using the dry file and Gsnap, I could not replicate this. I'd have to have your preset to see if it's something to do with the preset. Are you absolutely sure it was Gsnap causing the crackling?

Hi Lunch,

Wow, maybe something's gone wrong on my machine! I'll post the preset shortly - if it doesn't crackle, I know there's something wrong!

Thanks very much!

Not to hijack this thread, but any chance of a version of GTune that outputs MIDI note data? A simple pitch-to-MIDI tool would be mighty handy!

Thanks,

Sorry for the delay. I've just got back from holiday. I'll look into everything tomorrow - after a good, long sleep.
