Thanks Scot! The Synth Shrine just keeps growing I see. Any chance you'll be getting into the Wusikstation format? I just happen to know a trio of chaps who could make some patches for any Wusik samples you create.

I don't see why not...I will upgrade Extreme Sample Converter next week, which will allow me to convert to Wusik format. I wonder if that copies all of the samples when it converts, or just uses pointers. if the latter, I might even start putting Wusik patches on the CM discs...Teksonik wrote:Thanks Scot! nah the EXSC converts the whole samples first and makes them Wusik.snd
so I dont think it uses pointers.
but maybe
I just got the EXSC and didnt get too deep into it.
And thanks for the little excurse about the vsti ppg.

just grab the first .zip ... the looped samples in there are named (and if you open the .sfz patches in a test editor you can see the root / upper / lower notes as MIDI note numbers) ...Kriminal wrote:no note labelled wavs?
(or am i misunderstanding the question ??? )

the first .zip DOES have the .wav files in it though (thats how i mapped it to the eXT sampler) ... the sampler formats in the first .zip just reference the .wav files rather than embed them ...
... so no ... i DIDNT misunderstand ... you did ...

while waiting for the OK to repost the samples in eXT sampler format heres a quick shortcircuit mapping ...
http://experimentfour.brinkster.net/sam ... atches.rar
... download scots first .zip file and then put the 'shortcircuit' folder into scots 'patches' one alongside the kontakt etc folders ... hopefully the relative paths to the samples themselves SHOULD work (theyre OK here at least) ... if not shortcircuit will just ask you where the samples are and will relink them all automatically (just remember to save the .scg again once youve done that) ...

Absolutely, feel free to convert to any format you like and link them...
Krim: Very odd...all the samples are in the folders in the first download as .wav files, and have not only note names at the end of the file name, but embedded pitch data as well. Though it hardly matters if the sounds don't float your boat...
