With so many sycophantic host threads about (see Live and Logic) it felt only fair to give the one and only original Cubase a platform of its own.

Whaddya think?

imnsho, most pieces of software get the overall amount of praise that they deserve most of the time (there's always exceptions). It's fun how Live, Logic, etc get their appreciation thread, how Cubase one is just starting, and how, meanwhile, eXT is ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!

I keep coming back to Cubase - it is the one true host ( for me at least

Cubase frees me and enables me to do all the things i want to do, it's the only piece of software that i'd be totally f**ked without.

Being a Cubase user, I guess eXT gets ten times more praise cuz it costs ten or twenty times less. When shell out 3-600$ you don't feel grateful to the developer, you are buying a product and expect it to work. With gems like eXT or Wusik, you feel grateful cause they don't break your wallet AND deliver big time.

All the pros use Cubase, that's a fact. Plus Cubase sounds at least 10-20% better than all the other hosts - this has not only been proven by many highly scientific studies but i've come to the same result doing objective listening tests in my listening environment (which has been specifically optimized for host comparisons!).
