It's called SpinnerLE (GUI by amoebe) -- It is not ready for prime time but it will be a free add-on to NuBi LE. It uses (a somewhat improved version of) the Spinner sound engine and there is a built-in crossover. There's also the beginnings of a distortion channel and a fairly useful horn EQ sim. If you are interested in BETA testing this little guy please send an email to dev<at>nubi3<dot>com and include the following info :

Will this ultimately replace Spinner, or if no, will Spinner's engine be getting these mysterious improvements?

Agree with MW, stunning GUI, looking forward to messing about with this.

These improvements (and more) will appear in "Spinner Plus" - anyone who has already donated at the appropriate level will get Spinner Plus as soon as it is done.
