How to filter etc a Voice to have a sound like in old movies. f.e. CASABLANCA.
Is there a free plugin available or have I to play around with heavy eq only?!?

Howdy and welcome. Got Reaktor?

I've no idea if it's any good but there it is. Good luck with it.

If this were my project I'd probably just go with eq and maybe wire up a little scratch-hiss generation to go with. Pitch flutter at 24 Hz would be an extra.

You might be able to dig up something useful using the KVR search page: http://www.kvraudio.com/get.php It's the best tool you'll find for researching music software.

Thank you Meffy... Ill try it... right NOW :D

Get yourself a shitty tape recorder / dictaphone, use a cheap tape at slow speed and a decent mic. Record the voice onto it with a high gain. Re-record it into the computer and eq to taste. :D
Don't rely on just plugins all the time. I keep a shitty micro recorder around for this reason... it's nice to record your backing vocals onto it and then re-record them by micing up the shitty little one inch speaker.

The lo_tek_ra solution. :-) That can work too. Less predictable/controllable, but that might be a plus depending on how you work and the effect you want.

Watch out for that one!

I bought it a little while back and it's no workie in R5!

Better fire off an email to the dev first. matter of fact, thanks for reminding me.

In the mean time, you can try a mix of high-pass filtering, Izotope's Vinyl(free), and a tape echo emulation with a warble feature run 100% wet.

Good luck,

Thank you all for the verrrry fast help. I've tested Isotope Vinylizer. If I add some filtering etc, just like Sickle wrote, its ok for me... Thank you!!! gtx d!RT!E
