And before someone says "that's because it's not integrated VST support", no it's not. It's a bug, sure, but whether the VST support is "integrated" or not is irrelevant here.
No idea whether DirectiXer has the same issue - I do seem to remember in the SONAR 4(?) days there were some DirectiXer envelope issues with some plug-ins, but that may be my memory playing up (and remember that DireciXer hasn't been updated since 2003, so it's entirely possible that bugs have surfaced since then that haven't been fixed).

I don't know man, I think Sonar is too girly, i could not ever use an app with such colour scheme, but i heard it's possible to lay down a track or two on it, albeit lame VST and ASIO support.
I use SX3, i think i don't use more than 20% of its potencial but i'm happy this way, i whish it had a darker skin however.

stag, try Sonar's new, testosterone-drenched, machismo-enhancing "biker bar" skin. Works for me (grunt grunt*).

I can never decide, and always end up wanting everything. I want tattooed hot babes wielding power tools!
Now that's out of the way, what graphic should I put in my Sonar background? Hm...

thanks for all the input, I decided to get both, now I can't figure which one to learn first. I think I'm gonna go with cubase, since the dx instruments from sonar can now be loaded via fls which I use to start my project in anyways.
when they ask who sent you tell them "I AM" sent you.
