Slick maybe, but useful? Look a bit too hardwareish to me, especially eq and reverb...Slickle wrote:Their stuff has the slickest GUI's on em..

I wouldn't get too excited. These are better than the Blue stuff, but not much. I like the LM-662, but you can get Marquis and similar for cheap.Josmoker wrote:Slick maybe, but useful? Oh no I wouldn't buy those. In fact Marquis is high up on my shopping list. I'm just going to give the new plugs I'll get with Scope 4.5 a test run before.bduffy wrote:Josmoker wrote:

Makes you wonder who actually buys the Nomad Factory stuff... And what is Scope 4.5?Josmoker wrote:Oh no I wouldn't buy those. In fact Marquis is high up on my shopping list. I'm just going to give the new plugs I'll get with Scope 4.5 a test run before.bduffy wrote:Josmoker wrote:

Version 4.5 of the Scope SW for Creamware (DSP) cards - I upgraded today and am now waiting for a couple of plugs i didn't have before, namely a (vintage) compressor, a multiband mastering compressor, a kind of mastering processor which i guess works in a similar way to the SPL Vitalizer series, their top quality reverb and 2 or 3 other things.bduffy wrote:Scope 4.5?

I'd like the GUIs just fine if wasn't for the tube and the rack ears. Rack ears because they just take up too much screen space, a pain in the ass when using multiple plugins at once. Tubes, just because I think they are stupid.
Incidentally, how does hardware-ish preclude useful for you? For me, looking like hardware actually makes it pretty easy to use, since I know how they'll work before using them.

Oh yeah, Creamware; we so don't see that being used in Vancouver, forgive my ignorance.Josmoker wrote:That's the spirit!Sickle wrote:f**k all y'all.![]()

Hey, I dig the GUI's; I love well-done hardware rips. I do agree the grips are a little unecessary.
