so i got the waves diamond bundle... but when i try to use it in ableton, the waves-shell.dll thinger shows up as a folder and only has two or three of the 27 items im supposed to have now...

anyone seen this type of problem with .dll ? i sure haven't

Waves all Versions Several problems with Waves plug-ins crashing or misbehaving in all versions.

Apparently waves have been iffy with Live for a long time.

I had similar problems with the Waves GTR demo in Tracktion.
However if I did a VST rescan they showed up.
I had to do this every time I restarted Tracktion.

Try using FFX-4 to wrap the DX versions.

FFX-4 is freeware. FFX-16 is the pay version.

Live is known to have quite a struggle with the wave plugins once in a while...
just cut the waves directory out of your live-vst folder... open live... search for new vst:s... quit live... paste the wave folder back into live's vst folder and start live again.
