How in the name of all things logical can anyone think a pile of C++ and digital siginal processing sounds "exactly" the same as infinate sample rate (that means real time, all of the time)analog electronics, is beyond me? Does it mean so much to some, that they can clam a $60 software program is equal to a $600 synthesizer and believe it? Unreal!
Sample rate by definition means that it's on part of the time and off part of the time.. That means there are holes in the signal. Digital siginal processing also adds aliasing to the original signal. It adds stuff that isn't there and leaves out stuff that is. Can not, no way, not even... be "exactly" the same. The good thing is that it cost $60 bucks, it won't break down and it's close enough for a mixed mp3. You got what you paid for so be happy.
Analog sometimes has holes in the signal.
