takes a bit of effort for me to use all the pcs around here to do stuff.. my current live sampling project is emptying tubs of water pigs drink out of. only cut ~20 samples per day, no water to waste here w/ well and all..
interesting percussion to me.. builds into the impact, full freq. range, adds 'feel' to beat..
but imo it's obviously not a bloody original idea, yet i've never seen a sample set 'water splashes for percussion.' oc i ~ignore samples..
should i sort posting this in a week or so when i've cut a hundred or so splash sounds?? :p

Not a big deal for me. Maybe easier to keep track of if you posted "in bulk." Do whatever is convenient.
Looking forward to the splashes.

?? no message :p
~50 splashes so far, still trying for 'that other perfect take, right out the end of the tub..' has that late 70's/early 80's electronic primitive reverse-into-clap effect, like you're whipping someone to the beat... whhSSpplash..

reminds me of "Here Come The People" (early 80's electronic pop - New Musik - they used a sink full of water instead of handclaps, complete with watery round of applause at the end...
)
