this is a big pack. Like 170 samples. Lots of fun stuff. Recorded with the custom marantz recorded with two rode nt1a's.
some weird glass lotion bottle, screwing and unscrewing the cap
zipper stuff, scratchy and smooth texture rubbings, flicking hitting, slapping home made clay pot

Hi! Genetic,
You got some good sounds in there, clean samples too.
A few are clipping - this is something to watch out for as it hard clips the tops or bottom of the waves, literally snipping off the peaks and troughs, zoom in with a wave editor and you will see, where they should be round or peeked, they are flat and square - not always a bad thing for percussion effects, but if its happening at the recording stage, it means you are losing part of the original sound.
Bring the gain or level down or move the mic a little further away - if its intentional, then excuse me for mentioning it, but I thought I better mention it, incase its not and you do future samples losing quality because of clipping, which is avoidable.
Best regards,
Peter

thanks for checking the stuff guys.
Thanks for the heads up on clipping Spe3D. I saw it on the meters while recoding and in the wave editor prog. The quick percussive sounds aren't too bad. You can't really hear any distortion, but as you say, you do lose quality (dynamics). A couple zipper ones you can almost hear distorting since they are longer, but overall not too bad. I had some in there which really distorted, and I left thoe ones out of the pack. So basically I though they weren't sdo bad as to leave them out of a free sample pack.
Thanks for taking the time to explain the problem and solutions.
Oh yeah and anyone may repost this link at other forums. IT would be cool if you linked back to this thread too.

Couple days ago I flopped down and began to watch the 2nd season of Sealab 2021. It seemed like they were already trying to hard to be funny; it absolutely disgusted me. So that's when I decided to make this sample pack.
Just kidding. I made it to justify a 700 purchase.
