Did you try posting the problem on the Digidesign User Conference forum. Someone there may be able to help you. Sorry I don't have a solution for you.

Good luck. :)

I'm surprised you don't have more problems with 7, what version are they on now? 7.1 yet?

I think 7.1 exists only for HD users at this point. The latest version for MP and LE is 7.0cs5

Post

Yeah, they've announced 7.1, and will include it in their new expansion pack. Supposedly, it'll be free to 7.0 users anyhow.

But it isn't actually out yet.....Any day now....

that error sounds like the error you get when you're trying to save to a read only media, like a cd-rom...

I'm not saying that's what you're trying to do... but if you've taken any samples off of a cd-rom, or burned any of your files to cd-rom and then transferred them to a new computer, then they're still marked as 'read-only,' by some operating systems...

all you have to do is find them and right click on them, and either using properties or get info change them to read and write or change the ownership of the files...

I can't be more specific because you left out whether you're on a mac or a pc and what exactly your hardware and software specs are...

hope that helps
