I don't. Fuzzbox, Wunderverb, Neon, and VB-1 work fine here in FL

When loading Live it asks me to reject every dedicated Cubase plug, and approve few others besides, which means providing at least 20 clicks every time I fire up Live.
This was a problem with an OLD version of Live 5(I believe 5.0.1). Upgrade or whatever you need to do to get 5.0.3 and that problem will disappear. Live seems to be pretty stable these days.
i can't get any of Steinbergs free plugs to work in Live 5.03 .. i don't have Cubase ... no reject/approve problems when firing up Live on my PC.

Every host has its own propreitory plugins. Live has its own so cubase. I have both apps on my PC working. I never faced this kind of problem since My plugin directory is a common folder(C:\Audio Creation\VStPlugins) which I created and i point my apps to that one.
I would recommend you to install everything in a common folder since it worths to have a problem free scanning for future. it will work with other apps too.

Tools are tools, they don't produce anything...

Whoops! I probably need to elaborate a bit on my initial response. Live 5.0.3 will indeed reject the Cubase plugs but again, the problem of having to click through twenty times on everything else should disappear with the latest update. [/quote]

Oh yeah? Too bad that you're too f**king stupid to realize that the same thing is possible on Windows machines...

BTW, how's that Linux version of Ableton Live treating you?

Yeah but that's an external program and is not supported as well as symlinks are. Can you make a shell script that automates it? Is it integrated in explorer?

Btw, OS X is a unix too.

Your problem probably stems from the fact that on your options menu you have scan vst directory turned on, so it does a new scan each time you start Live. You can just turn that off.

That's really smart!

I set up a seperate folder for LIVE VST plugs. (Point to it in Preferences) Then I inserted plugs one at a time to be sure all is compatible.
No more start up snags!
