Hi,
Does anyone know what dealer cost is for the Digi 002 Factory Bundle that currently retails for $2,195? A "friend" of mine who works for Guitar Center is attempting to convince me that their cost is $2,150. I ain't buyin' it! (his story, that is!)
Thanks,
SP

you must be saying factory bundle when you mean non factory bundle. The MAP (what you are calling retail, but that's not the retail, you are listing MAP) on the 002 non-factory bundle is $2195. Cost is NOT 2150. It's about $500 less than that. The guy is lying.

Jason, the Factory Bundle MAP is $2,195 - 2,199 depending on where you look. See below links:

most companies give you 10% below cost if you buy direct from the company with you managers approval....store discounts may not be as good...but it still depends on the company. For instance, there is very little profit margin on shure mics...so a store discount might get you 5 to 10 bux off on an sm 57 or 58....however direct from shure it might save you as much as 25...@the stores I worked at the reps started just telling me what my cost was...as it was usually the first thing out of my mouth.....that and "where's my swag?"
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
