Hi, is there ne VSTi with which i cud play GIGA samples live, and without converting into any other 4mat? I've used Kontakt 2 but it converts GIGA samples 2 its native 4mat, which is a huge waste of space imho.

The definitive (not cheap) answer is the soon-coming GVI (Giga Virtual Instrument) - a Giga-built VSTI.

The EXSC-built sampler VSTI claims to not translate but use native formats as well - http://www.extranslator.com/index.html#sampler - it's not out yet, but I'm going to pick it up because as an EXSC owner I can get it for a good price.

If you can find someone willing to part with sfz+ with Giga (it's no longer available), it was able to play Giga2 files without converting.

Forte DXI plays giga files, but I don't know that it handles all the fancy things like dimensions, keyswitching, etc.

If you don't have to support Giga and another format concurrently, a one-time conversion of each sample set might not be so bad - although I'd probably consider looking at EXSC rather than Kontakt import based on what I've heard of the latter.

What's so bad about Kontakt? Cud u explain? imho, its atleast better than HALion coz when i tried 2 load the Maestro Concert Grand GIGA file with HALion, it imported all the samples, but i could play only 2 octaves of it. In Kontakt 2 it runs perfectly.
