If I could play like this, I would never need your sax VSTi in the first placeZioKiller wrote: Btw what do you think about the mp3? Not bad for a newbie, isn't it?

Yeah. Just having the C-below-D fingering work in all octaves is such a simple, but useful thing! Thanks for helping talk me into picking up one of those critters.Tony Ostinato wrote: wx5 has an alto sax fingering setting too, its also got built in nice alternative fingerings that wouldnt work on a real sax.

What would be cool is if you could play with the mute on the mod wheel. Have it cross from muted to non muted as you raise the modwheel. I've heard trumpeters do that. It sounds like your concentrating on the sax right now, but its an idea you might want to exploit.
I'm sure that these physical models aren't as simple to program as a regular VSTi synth but I thought it might inspire an idea.
Nice work Guido.
In the lower right corner you can assign expression and vibrato to any midi CC, including aftertouch.
Make sure you move the MIN EXP slider out of the max left position otherwise all notes will be muted.
My old eyes are going. I couldn't find aftertouch in the list. I couldn't find it in Cubase either. I thought it must be something other than a controller in the spec. What controller number is it? Thanks.

It's not in the list. You can either choose AT (Aftertouch) OR a MIDI CC number. You choose AT as it's own or a MIDI CC from the list (AT is left of the CC)

Most likely. Still this is worth waiting for!sonarman wrote:What's the record for most pages dedicated to a Vst instrument?
I think Guido's gonna wait till we get to 50.

On the milestone b6 what is going on with A2? You have to play it pretty soft to get any tone. Bb above and Ab below are fine, but A mutes as you blow harder, is that how trumpets work?

indeed, certain notes resonate a lot more than others but you get used to it.
i havent noticed it in milestone so its probably within that response range.

Hi Guido, just checking in to see how the trumpet and sax models are progressing? I think it's safe to say that we are all eager to test them out ASAP...this weekend would be great!
