there was a problem with the 7z archive - has been fixed now- please try again.
There will be a gui so you can assign CC / note numbers and stuff for each button combination. I'll be supporting the extended buttons found on some touchpads as well (I have a small four way control on mine for instance)
There'll be snapshots and the ability to lock individual controls on the pad so you don't change them by accident.

Hi, I just emailed Cirque on their online web form, and emailed Adesso ( support@adesso.com ):
Maybe some of you could send them a quick blurb as well in support! http://www.cirque.com/main/contact.htm & support@adesso.comHi,
Myself and a number of my musician friends are looking forward to using your USB touchpads with computer audio/VST/MIDI software as an input device to control things like the parameters on a software synthesizer, and for controlling effects in software such as Ableton Live (http://www.ableton.com). It is perfectly suited for such uses, and companies like Novation Music (http://www.novationmusic.com/) already use touchpads integrated in their USB music keyboards. We would ultimately like to use a number of touchpads (4 in a grid formation for example) on the same computer, and a developer (http://livelab.dk) is writing tablet2midi software for this purpose (see this thread: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... sc&start=0 ). Currently he is only writing the software for Synaptics touchpads, but the Cirque and Adesso standalone USB touchpads are a great price and a perfect small controller for this use. It would be amazing if you could work with him to get this software functioning. If you could get the extra features of the SmartCat Pro working that would be great as well. I know a large number of musicians who would be interested in using your USB touchpads for music applications. It's the perfect thing to control multiple parameters with during performance/composition, and they're cheap! Please contact support at livelab.dk and see if you guys can help each other out. Thanks!

if the standalone works on your laptop, then it has to be the combination with bidule. perhaps bidule doesn't allow the vst to receive some kind of information or something...lalo wrote:yes i did...but no midi message generated...

in live i think it won't work as it's a midi-only plug and afaik live doesn't support that (only vst/vsti with at least one audio out which touchpad2midi doesn't have).-fortune- wrote:i just tryed it with Ableton live5 and EnergyXT
in eXT make sure that it's directly or indirectly connected to the midi-out, e.g. insert t2m and nicfit's midi-mon in the main, connect midi-mon to eXT master out midi-port and connect t2m to midi-mon. that works like a charm here and i can see the messages being generated.

ok, just did a quick test in live on my corporate laptop and it doesn't work as live doesn't allow keystrokes to be received by the plugin, meaning when i press caps lock it doesn't lock the mouse-pointer so when i use the touchpad the pointer still moves.R.A.W. wrote:in live i think it won't work as it's a midi-only plug and afaik live doesn't support that (only vst/vsti with at least one audio out which touchpad2midi doesn't have).-fortune- wrote:i just tryed it with Ableton live5 and EnergyXT
