...although the actual pattern mode doesn't seem to do a great deal - the only use I've found for it is keeping a 'sketchpad' of ideas seperate from the song structure. And I speak as a card carrying XT fanboy.Filtah wrote:in EXT you can use a midi part with a different midi "patterns" assingned to a different key on your keyboard. these can be triggered live by playing the keyboard, or can be sequenced in the piano roll editor of the sequencer module, which essentially works like a "playlist".

well, that would be Rich Hoffmann then, right?BONES wrote: The GUI seems like it was done by someone who has no idea how to use a synth.

I think the only thing you're really missing you'd find in liveKriminal wrote: Just looking into other stuff i havent tried before. Dont know what the big deal is, im not gonna stop using Orion Plat, or Soundforge, or got over to MAC...just window shopping to see if im missing anything.... but if it doesnt fit the way i work right now, i wont be going that way.

Is English your first language? Because I'm having real trouble understanding any sense that may be embedded in your posts here. Or did you completely fail to grasp the context of the discussion I was having with arke?spaceman wrote:is that all you can come up withI expected something smarter mate. And what about this bombshell: "WaspXT is NOT the only synth to have an intuitive layout."

The skins are different, Gol did the FL one and Rasmus did the ORION one. I've never used the native ORION skin for it so I wouldn't have a clue how similar the layouts are but I know that the default ORION skin still puts the AMP Envelope nearest to the filter and the Filter Envelope on the opposite side, because I cannot change their position. They are below the bottom of my skin and so invisible - it was the only way to fix the problem.Jason Brian Merrill wrote:ahhh, so it looks exactly the same, until you change the layout (which apparently is far superior).

Thank-you, Jens. The original skin for both ORION and Fruity was done by Gol.

well, in this case I'll gladly admit that it's indeed piss-poor...BONES wrote:Thank-you, Jens. The original skin for both ORION and Fruity was done by Gol.jens wrote:well, that would be Rich Hoffmann then, right?

Wrong, you see, BONES is involved. That automatically means BONES wins, and it will be funny, simply because BONES cannot and will not lose. So, grab yourself some popcorn, sit back, relax, and watch the show.G-Ro124 wrote:oy, a typical KVR firefight between users
