The last issue I bought (January 2006 I believe, the one with the Real World samples on it), there is a "Public Bathroom" sounds folder with the recording of someone pinching a loaf :-o  :? . I don't know anyone in the right mind who would use that in a song except maybe Michael Jackson or some perverted sick fcuk.

I think it is either MUTOOLS or even more likely Tracktion v.1.

Some interesting thoughts/suggestions particularly re: the potential app that finds the only two usable samples on each DVD :hihi:

I'd not have thought it's Mutools as it's only recently gone into beta. More likely T1, or perhaps as has been suggested some variant of Cubasis/Live...

CM 'Babya Logic' would rock tho

Tracktion version 1 would cause problems for Mackie support, I'd think.

Sorry? Someone "pinching a loaf from a public bathroom"? WTF? And why would that be used by Michael Jackson???

Man, I need a share of the drugs going around here 8)

PS. You're out of line with the Jacko = pervert comment. Try Gary Glitter instead

Ah...so it wasn't kingsmill after all...

I once did a track with the sound of someone pebble dashing an s-bend. It were reet greet too.

Many a dance track has the woosh of a harpic jet sloshing around a toilet rim.

Anyone here get the CM 'special' rag, "The essential guide to Abelton Live"? It has a bunch of patches and stuff for Live's effects, etc. Also has a bunch of turorials that open inside Live.

I'm brave enough to admit--right here, right now, on KVR--that I bought that special and thoroughly enjoyed it!

I doubt it. DS-404 doesn't cause Muon support issues. ;)

Besides that, it's only with an increasingly huge fan base that people eventually started noticing little quirks. It was and IS one of the most stable and usable applications going. Never had it crash once.

That's because DS-404 is rock solid and as far as I'm aware it doesn't "forget" to play the first note when you are looping... *casually whistles*
