Well it depends on what host you are using, and whether it supports sidechain routing. In Logic, for example, I simply select which track or bus I want in the sidechain menu at the top of the plugin, and off I go.

Seeing as you won't tell us what host you are using, we can't tell you how to do it, or whether it's possible at all.

i used to write it for using on basses, but you will recognize how it works generally anyway. a little bit disappointing is, that you can only use it for mono. otherwise you need to duplicate your groups.
