Using ProFiles Apple loops in Logic Pro 7

Hi Guys,
Posted about this before but no response. I also have more info about the problem now. I realise that a somewhat dubious choice by Apple is at the core of this but hopefully you SR guys will take pity and help solve the problem.
Basically, Apple loops only show up in the Logic Apple Loops browser when a button relating to their category is pressed. Therefore. if an Apple Loops has no category assigned (like most of the ProFiles ones as far as I can tell) they don't show at all!! Don't know whether there is anything at all you guys can do about this SE ProFile (I can see myself loading them all one by one into the loop utility and assigning categories myself) but could you make sure that the Full titles (which I guess I'll be buying, along with R.A.W!) all have a category assigned? Dumb of Apple to configure it that way. I'd expect all loops to show up until a category is selected. Oh Well...
Gareth
P.S Don'e supposed you know how many/which Apple Loops on the SE ProFile don't have a category assigned? Would speed up my task a touch?

Hey Gareth,
I appologize for the trouble you're having with your Appleloops. The Loop Browser does act strange unless there is a category assigned. It seems to focus on the naming of the track and it does it very poorly. To my knowledge none of the Appleloops have categories assigned to them. This is something that will not happen again however, please expect all our future Appleloops to have categories assigned so they work optimally with the Loop Browser.

Squids....now you're subjecting all the SR/esoundz crew to the madness that is KVR? They'll all be asking for raises soon...Squids wrote:Chris is one of the people at SR working on the loops of SP. (not a member of the Jackson 5) Welcome to KVR Chris.

A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...
