I was watching the history channel, and they were talking about sea monsters. They showed a 25' Squid. Quite a formidable monster, I must say.

I get the feeling that squid was sampling something other than sounds.

The only squid I know doesn't eat--he works 24/7 on some music software/sounds/sales/and suchlike. You can catch him on some bizarre website-I forget where.

I do.

One might think it is because tentacles = fingers... keyboardist. However, its origin is from me saying the word Squids in various ways from the John Cleese Monty Python "Brontosaurus Theory" sketch voice (of Anne Elk) to just shouting it at full volume out of nowhere. It's fun. Try it!

I coined the phrase "Squids!". So it is an appropriate name I guess.

Plus, they are unusual creatures and deserve some recognition.
