Hi,

I want to apply effect to existing recording. I have recording some riff in mp3(with only distorsion). I want to edit these recordings (adding some effects Reverb, Compression...) with Amplitube (Plug-in VST) but I don't know how to apply effects.
I work with a PC.

I have searched free Host Soft but It's for live recording ?? I can't import my riff.

I can import audio in Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 but it's doesn't support VST plugins !!!

I need advies, please help me...

You can try Audacity, it's free (open source) and is a pretty good editor. You'll have to also download the "VST Enabler" from the same page. Get it here:

also my favorite audio tool, audacity is handy/great.
