cubase issue

hi, got 2x questions about cubaseLE


1. can i backup the online-registration file?
say if i plan to format c:
to re-install my whole system,
and re-install cubase ... do i have to do
the online-registration again?
or does the online-system "remember" that i'm already,
registered o.k.? how does that work/act???
how do you do this?

2. i think, cubase screwed up my burning software,
after i installed cubase, the burning software
looks a bit screwed up. how can i avoid this?
any clue?!
