Please do not mention DS-404 in the same breath as my beloved Tracktion!

ROFL the sad thing is you actually listened to it long enough to realize the truth in disgustmetalifuxx wrote:The last issue I bought (January 2006 I believe, the one with the Real World samples on it), there is a "Public Bathroom" sounds folder with the recording of someone pinching a loaf![]()

. I don't know anyone in the right mind who would use that in a song except maybe Michael Jackson or some perverted sick fcuk.
I hope that you are kidding though? Tell me you're kidding..

DS-404 has its quirks.
The reason Muon doesn't have any support issues is because they are not obligated to provide any. CM bought the plug-in from them, essentially, and they in turn promised a "pretty much stable" version, which took one or two patches, but that's about it. Now, it's not their problem.
I'm not saying Tracktion is perfect-- that's not the point. What I AM saying is that it's not likely that in the event CMusic is Tracktion v1, that Mackie will enter into a contract that meant providing support.
You don't promise technical support, then it's not an issue for Mackie.
That's all.
Regardless, I'm willing to bet cold hard cash (assuming the statistics could be provided.
) that more people would make more music with T1 than people have made music with CMuzys. A brilliant developer, to be sure, and an interesting enough program, but not exactly the friendliest thing around for musicians who record audio.

I also love the Specials. No matter how well you think you know your host, there's always something else to learn from these things.

And you're smart to avoid it. It's a huge productivity sink.ezeeboogie wrote:I only mentioned the first note bug in Tracktion because I knew it would get a reaction from you!Lunch Money wrote:DS-404 has its quirks.
I'm a Tracktion user myself, have been since v1.2/1.3, I'm just don't spend much time in the forum because you're all crazy.![]()

I think I installed Computer Muzys once, played around for a while and became very bored (I never found my host of choice until I bought Tracktion in 2004). They started hinting at a new CM Host about a year ago, but in true CM style said nothing for a further 8 or 9 months. I had my money on T1, guess I'm wrong.

On the screenshot Red was posting in the CM forum, why is there a track called "DeepzOne"?
