Now everyone can sound like Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead 8)

Sounds like this is a big part of his guitar sound though. Love the song "Planet Telex", excellent example of the Space Echo in action :)

Hmmm...people put out way more $$$ for the real one. This is my favorite UAD plug so far, bought it the instant it hit the checkout stand. I still plan on getting the Fulltone TTE at $1000. That makes the 201 seem a bargain. It's the first VST delay that echos properly. I can't stomach (earach?) VST delays to this point. They completely ruin guitars. They decay all wrong. They might be great for synth based dance music, but they suck on instruments.

Finally put it thru its paces and :-o :-o :-o :-o

This is a no-brainer for sure!!!!
If it sounds good it is good.

actually after playing with it some more it is pretty cool, still spendy though.

Again, it depends on how you look at it. Since I play mainly electric guitar and I love the sound a good tape delay gives to my strat it is no more or less expensive than any other pedal I would buy. If you compare it to 90% of the synths I've paid for, I'll be I get more hours use out of it than I will any of those (although it will take a long time to catch Zeta+).

And , if anyone calls it a "one trick pony" I will puke on their shoes. There are so many little twists you can get with these buggers, SPRING VERB THAT DOESN'T COMPLETELY SUCK!!!

Here is a little demo I made with the space echo

Here's pretty much the same song, but with the SpaceEcho on the rapping instead of the guitar.

I'm loving it more and more, still way out of price range for now, but maybe, eventually I will pick it up.... 12 days to go until my demo runs out!!!

Thanks LH,

I added another track with me doing some rapping affected with the SpaceEcho. The more I play with it the more I like it.

I almost always go for that 70's funk sound!

just ran the arcDev dubBoxx through some tests, and i got all the smooth feedback goodness that i WASN'T expecting, after the criticisms... that feedback sound at the end of Dusted William's rep demo, for instance; it does all that :D :D :D

not saying anything against the uad1 version, just for those of us without a uad card; it's really really good.
the link is in this thread earlier on and you should try it :D

cheers.

by the way, dusted, nice sounds ;)
resistors are futile you will be simulated

I actually got a better sounding feedback to my ears with the dubboxx and the other arcDev delay.

The quality of the arcDev ones are amazing. They all offer different sounds. I could probably get my dubb style fix on the areDev's delays.

The UAD one I still think is a bit more lusty only becuase I like the reverb and the diferent delay settings, but as far as quality goes they are both on par IMHO.
