yes I am an obsessive idiot.. and I really hate falling for shit like this.. and I would have gladly bowed out if my name wasn't repeatedly drug into this by Headquest. After quite a few comments to which I didn't even respond... the last one suggesting that I was a troll.. well that shit really pissed me off.. and to top it off, when someone can't even acknowledge the truth.. it f'n irritates me even more.

I've probably pissed everyone reading this thread off... sure, it makes me look bad... but once it started, and things started moving away from the factual order of events... I can't help it. Again, appologies... I'm really not a (well sorta... )

(1) Looking back you are indeed correct about the order of when I first committed the heinous crime of mentioning Tracktion. I apologise for getting the order wrong in my previous post.

(2) However, your first post in this thread was (as you correctly quoted) a one-liner putting me in my place.

(3) It was only following pHz's intervention that the thread spiralled out of control. So credit where it's due!

(4) Although I used the "troll" word on about page five, I have apologised several times! I find it sad that you feel my high praise for you elsewhere is worthless.

(5) In contrast you have suggested I am unstable, a nutter, an idiot, a deliberately nasty person … and you have said that I am "unable to tell the truth" - i.e. a pathological liar. These statements seem from my perspective to be far more serious (and slanderous) than anything I said to or about you.

(6) None of the so-called "Tracktion Police" made any effort to directly answer the question as to how come they had all appeared on this thread with no intention of answering the OP. I will leave people to draw their own conclusions about that.

So now I think it is YOU who firmly owes me an apology. But I'm not going to scream and shout about it for the next three pages in an undignified manner, because I think what we have seen here is already a pretty distasteful sight to most people. I'll leave it to you to decide what you think is appropriate and decent according to your own personal moral standards.

Both you and pHz are moderators on the KVR forum. Considering that pHz appeared to deliberately get this whole mess stirred up, and the slurs on my character that you and others have made, I feel that my character has now been maligned to a point where I no longer wish to post on any part of KVR.

I have therefore unsubscribed from all my watched topics, threads, etc, except this particular one. I have remained subscribed to this thread in the hope that you may wish to reply with rather more respect and dignity than you have shown in your recent posts.

oh yeah ... manipulating audio objects themselves IS way easy in tracktion (and live for that matter - not so straightforward in fl-studio to my mind though) ... its just the actual resampling / stretching algrhythm tracktion uses isnt the greatest (to be pretty kind to it) and tends to create LOADS of artifacts unless your stretching is pretty minor (and even thats no guarantee) ... of course if you dont mind about the pitch changing then tracktion is as good as any other 'old-fashioned' sampler-style stretch out there ...

... and yes i am a KVR mod but have (for obvious reasons) not made any comments nor taken any action here in that capacity ... and modulr only (AFAIK) has mod powers in the RMS forum so up here hes just a 'normal' member ...

How do you know I'm not a huge FL fan? How do you know I'm not using Live to deal with samples since Tracktions time-stretch is a joke? Oh that's right you DONT KNOW.

As usual, HQ making up stories again. I already told you I'm a fan of FL from back in the day, and I use Live to deal with samples. What more excuse to I need to view a FL vs Live thread?

But after visiting this thread, what do I find? HQ up to his cheap Tracktion bashing, kinda like every other thread that involves him/Live. The bottom line is that you have a vendetta against Tracktion and you feel the need to bash it even if its off topic AND you have no real evidence. Droves of people leaving? Where are the records for this. Tracktion is unstable? Where are all the forum posts?

PS: I dont even consider myself a Tracktion Police officer. More of a Headquest hater.

and since when is it a crime to point out that you were wrong in making a false claim? Dude, there is no way around it... and I'm sorry to break it to you, said feature is NOT unique to live. Are you going to get mad now at Tony Chopper for clearifying that FL Studio's elastique timstretch is in fact not the same as Live's... even tho you suggested this as true? So really? what did I do wrong? nothing, other than letting the best of me get caught up in this thread.

well how about acknowledging that the only reason Tracktion was in all likelyhood even uttered... is because you felt a tracktion user (me), tried to put you in your place... so why not throw a little something back.. it's human nature, but I can't prove that... so the point is moot. pHz just wanted answers to your remark. You opened up that can of worms on your own.

That is a diversion... it's not that I don't value your complements worth... it just has nothing to do with this thread. The fact that you are a helpful person (which is true), has nothing to do with what happened.. so I don't talk about it.

Well.. not until this very post have you even admited to getting the facts out of order.. and it's those fact from which this all started. So up until now, I don't feel like I was in any way out of line (beyond the explicatives, and annoying the folks reading this thread). I am sorry that you were on the other end of my anger, and that you had to witness that side of me. I am human, I've got emotions... and I don't tend to hold back my thoughts. In any case, you have just spoken the truth... I had been asking you to read the thread many many pages back. This is why I found what you were doing odd. please, stop with the pity.... this is a forum on the internet. I'm no different than you. A user here at KVR. I use Tracktion, EXT, Live, Mulch and Bidule... I happen to have the ability to delete posts on the RMS forum, and make stickies. We got into it... no more, no less.
