Cubase SL crashes in Project Browser w/ Access Violation

Greetings all,

Please excuse me if this is the wrong forum. I am new to KVR.

When I import MIDIs into Cubase SL and edit them via the Project browser, it will frequently crash Cubase with an Access Violation error (as seen in the log file).

Once this occurs, it seems that Cubase becomes unstable. Entering the Project Browser at any time after the initial crash will crash Cubase again, even on MIDI files I had previously had no problem with.

I've tried reinstalling Cubase and it seems to do the trick for a while, but soon thereafter it will happen again and Cubase will once again become corrupted.

It seems like maybe a DLL is getting corrupted, but I don't know.

Anyone else had this problem?

Plugins - Steinberg Hypersonic and Virtul Guitarist
(although the problem occurred prior to installation of Virtual Guitarist)
