Sure, but is it really necessary? How often do you mix in the dry signal when using a compressor? I know that one often does when compressing for instance vocals, but isn't it about as simple to set up the compressor as an fx send then?

Guess i use it as an effect more than a dynamics tool, energyXT has a wet/dry value on insert effects but in any other host id have to use a send fx which i tend not todo for just 1 track as it clutters the mixer.

Ok. It's a no-brainer to add it ofcourse. Only drawback is that it will "clutter" the GUI
