Cyan, its a chorus unit but it can do a lot more.

my first chorus i tend to open is classic chorus , allowing quite a few tweaks

then i try the betabugs Monstachorus which i think have a specific sound

If you want to have control over lots of paramters, then try ag-works CH-1, or
CH-2
I tend to prefer ch2 though

Make your choice, all of these are free

Don't forget Bass Chorus, xhipeffects chorus and UKM Chorus. That CH-2 is really sweet, though.

The original post didn't mention price it simply asked what was the best vst chorus ,

and the best vst chorus plugins are on the UAD-1
