Free Reverb recommendations?

If you have Cubase SX you don't need Ambience as it's in there, called RoomVerb. They licensed it.

Yeh, got that then, it is good, but I don't seem to get a natrual enough sound. Perhaps i should play around with it more

My faves:
xhip reverb (wip version).
Glaceverb (just "discovered" this after having it on my drive for months. Try using the modulation parameter. A little of this reverb goes a long way. I think it does a soft plate sound that rivals reverbs costing infinitely more

One that doesn't get mentioned much around here: Anwida DX Reverb Light (it's actually VST so go figure). This is a versatile reverb that works well in a lot of mixes and is low on CPU.
As far as being "stupid", well, that's seems to be the typical treatment for newbies. Sometimes people just want to talk to other people, though.

Not free persay, but theres something I've always liked about the fruity reeverb. It's really smooth yet texturey. Plus you can turn the room size down and lenght up the decay and get this dark violin string pluck sound (hard to explain exactly)shamann wrote:I still wonder what the best free reverb is.
