what an incredibly small gui. That can't be 1:1 scale? According to the site it is.

*sigh* and iLok.

Looks fantastic. :o Hmmmm I noticed that it requires an Ilok or Pace account to demo it. I would have liked to have tried it out.

The older PSP plugs do not use Pace or ILOK but I noticed even the PSP delay TDM I think uses ILOK so it appears PSP are heading that way possibly with all their new products. Great plugs but I don't think I would go down the ILOK pace route. I see why PSP might have done this but as good as his plugs are I will have to pass on this.

Post

look again only the HR version and all OSX versions need an iLok.... so if you're on Windows you can try Pace free

Post

Somebody can gimme a quick hookup on why Pace/iLok is so bad compared to other systems? I really want to get the new master limiter that they presented at the Winter NAMM (with the K-Meters) and if it has PACE too, I want to know of what to expect.

Cheers Multree I will have another look.

Compyfox I have read about some peoples experiences about PACE, some positive some not so great. Maybe others can chime in and explain more (I am no expert on it) but I just do not want to go down that route based on what I have read.

I remember a thread on the Sonar forum (KVR possibly as well)about Ozone using Pace and there was a fair few compaints so Izotope dropped the idea. Not sure if they have tried that option again though on MAC and PC versions.

Have a look at this thread...

Ozone still uses iLok for it's RTAS versions

and well at least from my experience iLok is pretty stable nowadays..... I still prefer serials but iLok is fine with me as well..... no let me rephrase that I use iLok if it is neccessary to use some of my favourite plug-ins

well if you have some time to waste just get a key and try it on your system (but back everything up in case it screws up your system - I didn't bother to do so and it's all working mighty fine)

just the first time you load a iLok plug into a session it takes some time... which can be annoying

Post

it seems the xp demo needs an ilok as well :(

Post

I very much doubt the vst version is Pace/ILOK the 608 multidelay isnt.

Post

I just bought all the PSP products--I hope this is as good as all the others--and if they didn't make me pay I'd be very happy. :)

Post

There are two versions apparently, neon & neon HR (high resolution) - the HR version requires ilok.

Could the camera get any closer to that guys's face?! geez!

Btw, what is a "linear phase EQ" and is that different from a "regular" EQ?

Wrong :x Only the HR version needs Ilok/Pace. I bought the non-draconian version for my Mac OS X and you dont need nothin. Its the OSX Compresser that needs the crap :-o

Yeah a bad decision no doubt. no pace, no dongle.

Great sounding Eq.
