RE: INPUT QUANTISE
you'll need the following plugins to continue further...
EnergyXT (duh)
NDC MIDIChanneliser
nF_Synchronizer4
nF_MungRack2_3
nF_NoteOnRelease
Drumatic3
Here is an example project using nF_Synchroniser4 to quantise input to 16ths. Not error free, but the best I could do considering this plugin was only intended to trigger MIDI Parts in XT before Jorgen gave us Live Mode
I edited it down to fit 1024 width screens...to make sure users without a controller could test it out I used Trollo to map the A,S,D,F....Q,W...keys to and mapped the "C" key to trigger a multi-pass capture.
To test:
hit the "C" Key on your keyboard and the "Master" will start playing and the Capture sequencer will start recording.
play some notes on your controller or the Qwerty keys.
hit the "C" key to stop capturing.
...Do this as soon as you open the file before you go diggin in and messing it up, you will probably want to customise/change the "C" key as it's not a good choice if you Ctrl+C often

Note quite... it looks like this tool is more for automated controller movements with virtual LFOs. Cool, but not what I had in mind.MotorsKill23 wrote:Sounds a bit like what ControlFront was intended forc_huelsbeck wrote:Wouldn't it be much greater, if you could insert a midi plugin in the track that maps a generic midi controller setup (all 128 controllers, maybe as a simple matrix or even with functions like inverted or min / max values) to the VST-plugin on that track? That way you would never have to change the midi setup on your controller (or if you forgot, that it screws up your synth patch, because you sent the wrong controller number). Instead you just select the track and use the same knob / slider for filter cutoff etc. This would be so much straight forward for working with controllers...

It's not a standalone plug-in, but give this eXT preset a try
You will need nicfits nF_note2CC plugin and NDCs MIDIForce2key.
I put the split at C3, you'll be able to see where to adjust it on the MIDI patcher comp. If you want to try something really neat, stick a chords comp between the midi patcher and the midiforce2key, change it to static mode and put in a few scales instead of chords.

nF_note2CC can not downloads but nF_note2CCv2 can. Is this one the same? What is the configuration in nF_note2CC in your project? Can your values be put in nF_note2CCv2 and expect the same effect as with nF_note2CC?

Yes nF_note2CCv2 is an update to the original nF_note2CC
Download nF_note2CCv2 and rename it to nF_note2CC, you should then be able to load glurgle's preset.

Sorry,
I've phased out of the SE plugin biz for a while...
The noteFX plug will basically quantize to scale, humanize, velocity, change vleocity scale and offset, add random and LFO based notes in a scale, add random Pitch bends, Transpose, send note off messages when "!" is pressed, and let you switch between snapshots ...I think that's it.
