Tracktion's built in modular environment is one of its big selling points (for me at least) Filters in racks are fed correct tempo information.

eXT's sequencer has modular-routings as well... - oh and b.t.w.: in XT2 which will be out real soon the sequencer's mixer and the main area are fully integrated...

you would need to reload each single plugin - but I bet if even just one or two persons would have requested it otherwise then Jorgen would have implemented it.

To sound good!! there's a bunch of reasons I might want to do that: perhaps I want a thicker version of a synth patch so I duplicate the whole thing and then detune one synth a little.. perhaps I want to harmonise a monosynth in fourths.. perhaps I want to paste the track into a whole different song! I think the last time I did it was to quickly turn a stacked clip containing several loop-recorded vocal takes into a mix of a few of the best.

Just in case anyone is concerned we have drifted off-topic: I believe Cubase users also have mouths full of testicals in this respect

Also, don't forget: With eXT you can as well continue using Cubase and still profit from the benefits of eXT.

Whenever I find the time, I'll defenitely check Tracktion 2 out, but so far it seems to be missing two features which *might* be rather relevant for me (*might*, because I'm not entirely sure how relevant they are indeed): A dedicated MIDI editor and proper dual monitor support.
